The Rock of Ages Blacklight Mini Golf ticket is one round of 18 holes under black light on Level 3, east side of Mall of America, at mall address 336 East Broadway. The course is themed on music from the 1950s to today, with a rock soundtrack, and the putter and ball glow. A round takes about an hour.
What happens, step by step
Electronic vouchers are accepted at the entrance, and the ticket covers one round on the scheduled day.
- Show the e-voucher at the entrance on Level 3, east side.
- Collect the glowing putter and ball.
- Play 18 holes built around a jukebox, a classic car, a submarine, a boom box, a studded glove and musical instruments.
- Finish the round, usually in about an hour, with the rock soundtrack playing throughout.
Food, drink, alcohol and large bags are not allowed. Children aged 5 and under play free, with one paid adult admission per child. The holiday hours match those of Moose Mountain: 11 am to 6 pm on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, and closed on Christmas Day.

Who it suits, and who it does not
It suits groups who want an hour of golf in the dark with music, and Megan from the US calls it fun for all ages. It sits on the same side of Level 3 as the escape room, so the two fit into one afternoon.
